These terms and conditions govern your use of the PropFix website (fix-prop.co.uk) and the building, renovation, and maintenance services provided by Fixprop Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
We provide general building and contracting services including but not limited to house extensions, loft conversions, bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, flooring, carpentry, and general property maintenance across Ilford and East London.
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information available at the time of survey. Additional works discovered during the project may incur extra charges, which will be agreed with you before proceeding.
Payment schedules are agreed upon prior to commencement of work and are outlined in our written quotation or contract. We may require staged payments for larger projects. Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the agreed works.
All workmanship is guaranteed. Specific guarantee periods vary by service type and will be detailed in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are passed through to you where applicable.
We maintain comprehensive public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance. Certificates are available upon request.
You may cancel any agreed works by providing written notice. If work has already commenced, you will be liable for the cost of materials ordered and work completed to date.
Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
In the event of a dispute, we will endeavour to resolve the matter amicably. If resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
